Our first priority as a business is to keep our customers and staff safe. As a result, we have made the decision to cancel all live mock tests in the months of April, May and June. Parents will be given the option to sit the tests online (on the same date and time) or reschedule to a July to August 2020 date.
We reserve the right to cancel all scheduled mock tests in July and August 2020, should we deem it unsafe or impractical to proceed accordingly.
Where tests are cancelled by MockTestMasters.com, parents will be offered an online session or a refund less a 10% fee.
Why a 10% deduction?
Our terms and conditions of cancellation stipulate a deduction of a 35% administration fee, however, in light of the current unprecedented situation, this has been reduced to 10%. It covers the finance cost deducted from your payment to us by the card company, which remains non-refundable. In addition, we deduct a very small administration fee to cover the cost of processing and refunding your booking.
You may be aware of the furlough scheme where the government covers up to 80% of the cost of employees’ salaries provided they stop working. However, in order to respond to our customers’ requests immediately (rather than keep them waiting for months), a small number of administrative staff have been retained to respond to emails, process refunds etc. This small deduction is a little contribution to their monthly pay for working from home. We trust you understand our position and our decision to provide a continuity of service.
